Beware of Cat

I am a cat lover, don’t get me wrong here… But I have seen these cats at this fish store many times, and now I believe that they live here. They are extremely lazy cats. But, I don’t know if I would trust instinct to not take over at some point, especially with a store full of exotic fish.

ECFA Propoganda

I always love signs that tell people not to worry about it, the government will take care of you… Just vote for it. Oops the address is in that picture, I certainly hope this article does not lead to some heavily anti-ECFA people with ill intent, because you know they will just blame some foreigners (as all Taiwanese like ECFA). Will somebody please make a standardized sarcasm font?

Where the stairtape ends….

Where the Stairtape Ends… Shel Silverstein needs to come to Taiwan, as there are boundless new childrens books waiting to be written.

A hole in every shoe

Well, there I was walking down the street and saw this. After thinking of the irony of it, and soon finding others I discovered it wasn’t a random encounter but an intentional thing. Certainly deserving of the WTF category.

Golden Shower

One day while driving by this building, I read the English too quickly and almost caused an accident whipping my head around to verify I had really seen a golden shower… fourtunatly, i was mistaken. However I do now call this the golden shower building anytime I am in the computer alley part of town.

From one troll to another

Lets face it, I am a troll. But that doesn’t prohibit me from pointing out other trolls in their natural habitat and when to avoid them. If you are ever going to Computer Alley with a car, keep in mind that the parking behind Starbucks just off off Jin Shan Nan Liu currently has a troll. I have independently verified the status of this troll by the following methods. 1) walking thought the parking lot this person was moving cars and drove up behind me revving the engine of the vehicle she was parking. 2) a friend of mine parked there during one of my strolls to the alley, and after being unable to use the automated teller machine attempted to make payment via said troll. Who rudely refused to speak Chinese, and pointed back to the semi-functioning automated system. 3) was seen today yelling at the owner (or manager) of said parking lot.

If this troll is seen in her lair a quick call to animal control followed by a prompt selection of one of the other 3 parking lots in the area is quite useful.
